David Steel on the Lib-Lab Pact

The leader of the Liberal Party, David Steel, tells The Times that he is delighted with his party’s influence on Denis Healey’s budget as part of the Lib-Lab Pact. He and John Pardoe, the Treasury spokesman, tell the paper that the party had delivered help and incentives for small businesses and farms as well as measures to promote profit sharing.
