From the earliest days of Liberalism to more recent history, women have helped to shape Liberalism and the Liberal Party, SDP and Liberal Democrats.
Marking the publication of the History Group’s new booklet, Women for Liberty, join Wendy Chamberlain MP, Baroness Lynne Featherstone and Jo Swinson to reflect on the legacy and their own experiences, in discussion with Duncan Brack (Editor, Journal of Liberal History), and Donna Harris (Chair, Lib Dem Women).
This meeting is jointly hosted by the Liberal Democrat History Group and Liberal Democrat Women.
This is a fringe meeting at the Liberal Democrats’ autumn conference, but you do not need to be attending conference to be able to participate in the meeting. We are not offering online access, but a recording of the meeting will be made available on our website soon afterwards.
