Death of Sir Robert Aske, 1st Baronet, Liberal and Liberal National MP for Newcastle upon Tyne East 1922-23 and 1929-45

Aske was one of the original signatories to the declaration of Simonite Liberal Nationals of 5 October 1931 supporting the National Government and was re-elected in 1935, although he was not opposed by a Samuelite Liberal.
