Birth of Richard Livsey, Baron Livsey of Talgarth

Livsey famously won the Brecon and Radnor by-election for the Liberal Party in 1985 by just 559 votes but went on to hold the seat until 1992. He won the seat back in 1997 and held it until 2001 when he stood down as an MP and took a seat in the House of Lords. Richard Livsey died on 16th September 2010.
