Walter Runciman spends his last day in office

Last day in office as Lord President of the Council of Walter Runciman, 1st Viscount Runciman of Doxford, former Liberal MP for Oldham, Dewsbury, Swansea West and St Ives. He served in Asquith’s Cabinet as President of the Board of Agriculture and President of the Board of Trade, resuming the latter post in the National Governments of the 1930s.
