Young Liberals rally in support of their national chairman Louis Eakes

Eakes had been censured by the Liberal Party executive for his comments supporting anti-apartheid attacks on cricket grounds. A statement was issued by officers and committee members of NLYL rejecting the ‘arrogant attitude’ of the party executive, which ‘had no right to interfere in YL affairs in this manner.’
