Sir Francis Blake is elected Liberal MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed

Blake, a Northumberland landowner and barrister, was elected at a by-election caused by the elevation to the peerage, of the sitting MP, Sir Edward Grey, as Viscount Grey of Fallodon. Blake sat for the constituency until his retirement in 1922.
